Travel & Tourism accounts for over 10% of global economic activity and supports one in ten jobs around the world. With air travel becoming increasingly affordable and the rise of middle income ‘new travelling’ households, discovering the world has never been more accessible. In effect, Travel & Tourism’s contribution to GDP will grow at an average of 3.5% per year over the next decade and generate nine million new jobs every year. 

Ensuring our sector’s long-term competitiveness, inclusivity and sustainability requires public-private collaboration and an enabling environment to address current and emerging challenges and opportunities for Travel & Tourism.

In this context, WTTC focuses on three key areas:
